Lewisham Removals

Services

What we move, and what is included

Six kinds of move. Each quoted after a survey, and each telling you what it covers before you book rather than after.

  • 01

    House and terrace removals

Whole-home moves across the borough, sized on what is actually in the loft rather than on a bedroom count.

    • A survey of both addresses, in person or over video
    • Dismantling and reassembly of beds, wardrobes and flat-pack
    • Floor, frame and banister protection at both ends
    • Bay suspensions applied for where the street needs one
    • Goods in transit and liability cover explained before you book
  • 02

    Flat and conversion moves

The borough is full of Victorian villas split into flats. Shared stairs, half-landings and no lift are the normal conditions.

    • Access checked with the freeholder or managing agent first
    • Communal-area protection, which most buildings require
    • Stair-carry planning with the crew sized for the floor
    • Lift and loading-bay bookings in the newer blocks
    • Inventory-aware packing for rented flats
  • 03

    Man and van

Single rooms, part loads and collections — the same blankets and straps as a full removal, scaled down.

    • One or two crew with a van sized to the real load
    • Proper securing, not a bare load bed
    • Single-item and part-load collections across SE London
    • Help loading and unloading, not just driving
    • Honest sizing at the quote so the van is not too small
  • 04

    Student and shared-house moves

Goldsmiths and the New Cross shared houses, where one room moves and the rest of the house carries on.

    • Single-room moves in and out of shared accommodation
    • Quiet working around housemates who are not moving
    • Part-load sharing between students on the same route
    • Vacation storage with delivery back at the start of term
    • Early booking for the June and September peaks
  • 05

    Packing and storage

Full or part packing with proper cartons, and sealed storage for the gap between moving out and moving in.

    • Full packing, or fragile-only if you would rather do the rest
    • Purpose-made wardrobe, picture, china and book boxes
    • Room-by-room labelling matched to the new address
    • Containerised storage, sealed and inventoried
    • Unpacking and removal of the empty cartons
  • 06

    First homes and small moves

A first flat is rarely a full lorry. It still deserves a crew who protect the doorframes.

    • Right-sized vehicle rather than the biggest available
    • Flexible timing around a key handover
    • Help with flat-pack assembly at the new place
    • Collections from a parent’s house or a storage unit
    • Straight answers about what you actually need

Not sure which one you need?

Most moves are two or three at once. Tell us what you are facing and we will tell you what it actually needs.
